		Dishong Antiques is located in a log house that is over 100 years old.  It is still setting at its original location about 2 miles south of Anna, Ohio on County Road 25-A.  County Road 25-A used to be called the Dixie Highway.  It was 'the' way to travel from Michigan to Florida before the advent of Interstates.  Now Interstate-75 carries most of the traffic.  The contents of the building are designed to look like an old country store.  In fact most of the permanent fixtures are from the merchantile that was owned and operated by Uriah Dishong, my grandfather.  My mother operated it until the death of her mother.  At that time she closed the doors and never reopened them.  Many of the items from that original merchantile were moved to the present location to create this unique antique shopping atmosphere.
